Addison D. Bonner

Addison D. Bonner is an attorney, co-founder, and Co-Managing Director at Bonner Sogi & Associates. He concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation, crisis management, and white collar criminal defense. Throughout his practice, Addison has represented individuals and corporations in a variety of business disputes and litigation, including aviation, banking, class action, contract, environmental, healthcare, real property, tax, and telecommunications matters, in both federal and state courts.

Addison graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He received his Juris Doctor in 2009 from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Prior to joining Bonner Sogi & Associates, Addison was a founding partner at Hosoda & Bonner Law Firm. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii, in the U.S. Court of Appeals (Ninth Circuit), and the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.

Addison is also actively involved in the legal community. He is a past president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association, a Lawyer Delegate to the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii, and an arbitrator in Hawaii’s Court Annexed Arbitration Program.

Geoff J Sogi

Geoff J Sogi is an attorney, co-founder, and Co-Managing Director at Bonner Sogi & Associates. He focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, long-term care planning, probates, conservatorships, guardianships, and estate and trust administration. 

Geoff graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Japanese. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During his time at Richardson, Geoff was selected for the Scholar Advocacy Program. Under the guidance of Professors Eric K. Yamamoto and Susan Serrano, Geoff worked on numerous projects focused on civil rights and social justice, including co-authoring a chapter in the 2008 Edition of the Encyclopedia of the Supreme Court of the United States titled, Korematsu v. United States: Challenging the Japanese American Internment.

Following law school, Geoff served as the General Counsel and Compliance Officer for a local credit union and later worked as a regulatory compliance officer at a larger bank where he helped to create a program dedicated to fair lending. Prior to founding Bonner Sogi & Associates, Geoff worked as an attorney at a well-respected law office, assisting clients with estate, long-term care, and special needs planning, probates, conservatorships, guardianships, and trust and estate administration.

Geoff is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii and its District Courts.  He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Probate and Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections, the American Bar Association, and the Hawaii Estate Planning Council.

Geoff volunteers with Make-A-Wish Hawaii and serves on the organization’s Development Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors and is a past-President of the Japanese American Citizens League of Hawaii, Honolulu Chapter, and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa International Honor Society.

During his free time, Geoff enjoys golf, comic books, tattoo art, and spending time with family and friends.

Chelsea M. Cobb

Chelsea graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor in 2022 from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Prior to joining Bonner Sogi & Associates, Chelsea was a law clerk for the Honorable Sonja M.P. McCullen of the State of Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii and its District Courts.


George O. White

George O. White is an attorney at Bonner Sogi & Associates, where he focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, administration, and litigation, including probates, conservatorships, guardianships and trust proceedings.

George received his Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Environmental Law from the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law in 2009. Prior to joining Bonner Sogi & Associates, George served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu and the County of Kauai, and most recently as a Staff Attorney for the Honolulu City Council.
